Tarpon’s Investments in Public Equities

Tarpon seeks investment opportunities within the universe of publicly traded companies mainly in Brazil and to a lesser extent in South America. In addition to the five pillars of our investment philosophy, our public equity approach applies the following strategy:

Focus on second and third tier stocks
Engage in various forms of shareholder activism when something is going awry with our fund’s investments
360º monitoring of invested companies via constant interactions with owners, managers, customers, suppliers, stakeholders, etc.

Tarpon’s public equity strategy is deployed through the Fundo Tarpon and Tarpon Fund, both being Funds limited to investments in Brazil as opposed to the Tarpon All Equities Fund, which can invest throughout South America.
