Pedro Faria
Pedro has been a Partner at Tarpon since June 2003 where he is responsible for the Investments Team and part of the Investment Committee and Board of Directors. He is a Board Member of BrasilAgro, Direcional Engenharia, Omega, Cremer and Arezzo. He was the Chief Financial Officer of BrasilAgro from its inception until February 2007. Prior to joining Tarpon, Pedro was a Managing Director of Banco Pátria, where he was responsible for monitoring companies of a US$250 million private equity portfolio, and has also worked for Chase Manhattan Bank and Banco Patrimônio/Salomon Brothers. Pedro majored in Business Administration at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (São Paulo) and earned his MBA from the University of Chicago.
