Horácio Lafer Piva

Horácio was the chairman of the São Paulo State Industry Federation (FIESP/CIESP/SESI/SENAI/IRS) from 1998 to 2004, and of SEBRAE (the Small Business Supporting Services Association) from 1998 to 2000. Currently, he is the President of the Board of Directors of BRACELPA - Associação Brasileira de Papel e Celulose (the Brazilian Pulp and Paper Association), and of AACD - Associação de Assistência à Criança Deficiente (the Association for Assistance to Children with Disabilities). Additionally he is a member of the Board of Directors of FAPESP - Fundação de Amparo à Pesquisa do Estado de São Paulo (the Foundation for Support to Research of São Paulo State), of Grupo Martins, of the Fundação Antônio Prudente/Hospital do Câncer (Antônio Prudente Foundation/Cancer Hospital), and of Fundação Osesp. Horácio is also member of the Board of Directors of Klabin S.A., of Atmosfera - Higienização de Têxteis S.A. and of Redecard S/A. Horácio majored in Economics and completed his business specialization program at Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), in São Paulo.
